JBL Micro Review
JBL is noted for its quality sound systems, and the company is considered to be on the cutting edge when it comes to Bluetooth technology. How does the JBL Micro Wireless Bluetooth Speaker stack up against the competitors? In this JBL Micro review we will discuss it’s design and performance.
As the name suggests, the JBL Micro Wireless Bluetooth Speaker is very portable and lightweight, making it a good choice for music and audio on the go. It can be packed away neatly in a suitcase or backpack, making it an ideal choice for travel and transport.
Wireless Bluetooth connectivity is a major consideration for many in this high tech world we live in. Just about every computer based application is Bluetooth enabled, including mobile devices and tablets. Unfortunately, the sound that emits from many tablet speakers leave a lot to be desired. this is where the JBL Micro Wireless Bluetooth Speaker fits into the lifestyles of many consumers.
The 3.5mm headphone jack is a good option as well, as it allows the user to listen to music in private. The design is modern and stylish, although not terribly unique. Those looking for an ultra cool and out of the ordinary design might be somewhat disappointed. Considering what the speaker is created for and intended to do, this should not be a deal breaker by any means.
The color of the JBL Micro Wireless Bluetooth Speaker is black with some silver along the sides. It should color coordinate well with most devices. Some consumers and users of mobile devices might be somewhat put off by the lack of color options. The black color doesn’t seem to complement solid white cell phones and tablets, but this is a small compromise.
Perhaps one of the major selling points for this speaker system is the rich and resonant bass. With a sound as booming as the bass from this speaker, you wouldn’t expect to be able to clip it easily onto a shirt pocket or belt buckle. It measures a mere 3.3 inches in diameter, making it so compact and small. The micro USB port makes it so easy to recharge from any USB enabled device. Making it even more desirable is the included USB cable, eliminating the need to go shopping for this necessary accessory.
The folks at JBL did not spare any technical details, because they also added a handy LED light that lets the user know the unit is being charged. For all the features it offers, this speaker system has an affordable priced as well. It’s a cool option to be able to pair this speaker with other JBL systems for even richer sound.
Another honorable mention is the decent battery life one can expect from the JBL Micro Wireless Bluetooth Speaker. Under ordinary circumstances, expect to get anywhere from 5-7 hours of play with the use of alkaline batteries. The built-in Li-ion battery offers somewhat less playback time. Rechargeable batteries can be used as an economical alternative.
All in all, the JBL Micro Wireless Bluetooth Speaker packs a lot of punch and delivers in most respects. From college kids to seniors, it is intended to offer versatility at a good price. You can find this speaker in most Electronic shops or order it from Amazon.
